About the Role
We are looking for innovative, self-starting individuals with a passion for working in the busy and dynamic bus industry to join our Engineering teams across London. We are recruiting Advanced Engineers (HGV/PSV Technician level 3) to work a shift pattern of 4 days on and 4 days off, with opportunities for voluntary overtime.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, repairing and maintaining buses.
- Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
- Recording faults and repair work using a tablet.
- Following safety instructions and reporting issues.
Requirements
- Have at least an NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification).
- PCV licence is desired but not essential.
- Have a good standard of Maths and English.
- Be able to read and understand instructions and service manuals.
- Know how to use fleet management technical computer systems.
- Be good in a team.
- Be able to meet deadlines and work flexibly.
- Be happy to take any training the service manager asks you to.
- Be able to work well using your own initiative.
