Responsibilities

  • Refine, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs.
  • Manage electrical power systems and circuitry.
  • Oversee CNC control systems.
  • Design and maintain mechanical components and systems.
  • Design and maintain hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
  • Perform maintenance on HPDC and CNC machines.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from various groups.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Deal with multiple abstract and concrete variables.
  • Operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work on multiple assignments simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budget requirements with satisfactory quality.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of DCS (Distributed Control Systems).
  • Working knowledge of electrical power systems and circuitry.
  • Working knowledge of CNC control systems.
  • Working knowledge of general design and maintenance of mechanical components and systems.
  • Working knowledge of general design and maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatic systems.
  • HPDC machine and CNC machine maintenance experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Regularly required to talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme heat; and risk of electrical shock.
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
  • Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Must perform job duties onsite, when necessary, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.
  • Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
  • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.
