About the Role
Gate One is a growth consultancy specializing in transformation design and delivery. The specialist function team, where this role sits, is critical to the growth and performance of Gate One. This role will work with US leadership across People and Talent processes and operations, being the liaison between the global people and talent team and the US team.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day people operations within the US business.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries for the US team.
- Support US leaders by maintaining clear visibility of consultant resourcing on client projects and strategic recruitment planning.
- Capture external hiring and Associate/Contractor requirements from US account leads.
- Support permanent recruitment, including drafting job descriptions, coordinating with recruitment partners, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
- Build and manage the US Associate/Contractor network and supplier relationships.
- Partner with Havas HR teams to stay aligned on US policies and communications.
- Lead and own the launch and embedding of global HR initiatives in the US.
- Partner with US leaders on annual processes such as roundtables, quarterly reviews, and continuous feedback.
- Act as Gate One US ‘onboarding ambassador’ for new joiners.
- Manage core people reporting, including PTO tracking and employee survey results.
- Lead and identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR and resourcing processes.
- Partner with the global P&T team on Learning & Development opportunities.
- Ensure consultants have the necessary resources for onboarding and ongoing support, including working spaces, onboarding packs, and tech access.
- Coordinate leadership team logistics, such as offsites, training, and workshops.
Requirements
- Experience within a professional services environment, ideally another management consultancy.
- Broad generalist HR experience spanning recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities.
- Proactive approach and confidence to work autonomously.
- At least 5 years of operational HR experience within a fast-paced and growing organization.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
