About the Role
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking an ICU Nurse Fellow to address the shortage of critical care nurses in the UK. This 6-month immersive fellowship combines classroom and direct care modules for early-career nurses aspiring to a critical care career.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring level 2 and 3 care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Prioritize nursing care, recognize patient deterioration, and escalate to the site team/clinician immediately.
- Evaluate, update, and revise the plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Requirements
- NMC registered Adult Nurse (Essential)
- Willingness to undertake relevant post-registration courses (Essential)
- Suitable hospital-based nursing experience
