About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join our team - Employer of the Year Housing Heroes awards 2025. We’re looking for 2 Fire Surveyor’s to play a key role in delivering safe, compliant homes for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Ensure fire safety works are delivered to the required standards.
- Produce clear specifications to address fire risk assessment recommendations and mitigate risk across a range of buildings.
- Apply current and historical guidance, identify best practice and respond to emerging legislative changes.
- Undertake building and technical surveys to assess condition, identify defects and evaluate risk, including across complex sites.
- Make informed recommendations for repair, improvement or new works, ensuring solutions are practical and risk-focused.
- Provide professional advice on construction regulations and best practice.
- Develop specifications and technical documentation, such as briefs, drawings and schedules of work; to support the procurement and delivery of programmes.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation.
- Ability to ensure compliance with KPIs, policies and health & safety standards is essential.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Must reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.

Experience Level
- Experience as a Fire Surveyor focused on quality and performance.
Education Level
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Fire Safety, IFE, BM TRADA/FIRAS, RICS, IOSH or a related degree)
Salary/Compensations
- £50,849.00 - £63,561.00 per annum
