About the Role
MOTOR Ai is building Europe's first certifiable Level 4 autonomous driving system, rooted in cognitive neuroscience and driven by a multidisciplinary team. We are actively developing autonomous mobility, not waiting for it to arrive.
Responsibilities
- Support the development, integration, and testing of software and automotive systems.
- Take ownership of smaller projects and contribute to day-to-day engineering activities.
- Participate in on-site testing and field assignments, including travel for 2–4 weeks at a time.
- Document test results, analyze findings, and help improve development and testing processes.
- Work with modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows while collaborating closely with an experienced engineering team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with software development or automotive systems through studies, university projects, internships, or personal projects.
- Enjoy building, experimenting, and learning new things through side projects, open source, hackathons, or personal ideas.
- Enjoy taking ownership, working independently, and finding practical solutions to challenges.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Eagerness to learn Linux and ROS2.
- Curiosity about modern AI developer tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- German language skills are an advantage.
