About the Role

MOTOR Ai is building Europe's first certifiable Level 4 autonomous driving system, rooted in cognitive neuroscience and driven by a multidisciplinary team. We are actively developing autonomous mobility, not waiting for it to arrive.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, integration, and testing of software and automotive systems.
  • Take ownership of smaller projects and contribute to day-to-day engineering activities.
  • Participate in on-site testing and field assignments, including travel for 2–4 weeks at a time.
  • Document test results, analyze findings, and help improve development and testing processes.
  • Work with modern development tools and AI-assisted workflows while collaborating closely with an experienced engineering team.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Hands-on experience with software development or automotive systems through studies, university projects, internships, or personal projects.
  • Enjoy building, experimenting, and learning new things through side projects, open source, hackathons, or personal ideas.
  • Enjoy taking ownership, working independently, and finding practical solutions to challenges.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Eagerness to learn Linux and ROS2.
  • Curiosity about modern AI developer tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar technologies.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • German language skills are an advantage.
