About the Role

Searcys is seeking an Event Manager to oversee the coordination and profitability of events at 116 Pall Mall. This role involves managing the event team, collaborating with sales and clients, and ensuring seamless event delivery in a prestigious London venue.

Responsibilities

• Ensure events are set up and delivered on time as per event sheets.
• Attend and contribute to daily and weekly event operations meetings.
• Liaise with kitchen, event sales, operations, and client teams for successful event delivery.
• Conduct short- and long-term planning and management for events and sales.
• Develop and recommend budget, marketing plans, and objectives, managing within approved plans.
• Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits in all event areas.
• Recommend, develop, and implement effective marketing plans for generating event revenues.
• Evaluate each event to ensure proper servicing.
• Assemble creative and innovative event attractions, outsourcing as needed.
• Lead the event team to build long-term customer relationships and achieve sales objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in event management.
• Thorough understanding of the event and meeting management process from conception to completion.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Meticulous organizational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Concise and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective.
• Excellent strategic thinking and critical reasoning skills.
