About the Role
Support the Chair, act as an ambassador for rowing, and chair the Regional Chairs and Representatives Forum.
Responsibilities
- Support the Chair as agreed or in their unexpected absence.
- Undertake assignments at the request of and pre-agreed with the Chair.
- Maximize communication between the Board, regions, competitions, and clubs.
- Act as an ambassador for the sport of Rowing.
- Maintain knowledge of the sport and broader sector-wide activities.
- Chair a regular ‘Regional Chairs and Representatives Forum’ virtually after a Board meeting.
Requirements
- Robust financial management and reporting skills.
- Expertise in strategy, rapid scaling, technology-enabled change, marketing, or community building.
- Strong communication, influencing, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
