About the Role

Support the Chair, act as an ambassador for rowing, and chair the Regional Chairs and Representatives Forum.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Chair as agreed or in their unexpected absence.
  • Undertake assignments at the request of and pre-agreed with the Chair.
  • Maximize communication between the Board, regions, competitions, and clubs.
  • Act as an ambassador for the sport of Rowing.
  • Maintain knowledge of the sport and broader sector-wide activities.
  • Chair a regular ‘Regional Chairs and Representatives Forum’ virtually after a Board meeting.

Requirements

  • Robust financial management and reporting skills.
  • Expertise in strategy, rapid scaling, technology-enabled change, marketing, or community building.
  • Strong communication, influencing, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
