About the Role
ARCO is seeking a highly motivated construction Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare sector. This role is responsible for overall project performance and customer satisfaction from concept to completion, with full profit and performance accountability for assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and administer all aspects of a project, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with owners early in the process to facilitate the design process with chosen design professionals.
- Ensure accurate and complete project estimates are prepared.
- Develop preliminary concept drawings in conjunction with owners and the design team.
- Participate in proposal meetings to review scope of work, discuss cost reduction strategies, and provide value engineering ideas.
- Oversee the subcontractor buyout and selection process.
- Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings.
- Coordinate with the Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule adherence.
- Conduct progress meetings with owners and the construction team.
- Maintain cost consciousness and awareness of all project aspects.
- Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering or related field with a minimum of 3.2 GPA.
- 3-5 years of experience in healthcare construction projects.
- Ability to make sound decisions under tight deadlines.
- Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple activities effectively.
- Commitment to quality by evaluating and improving project processes based on customer input.
- Act with integrity, supporting company values and employees while focusing on customer requirements.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.
