About the Role
The candidate will be a core member of our London Marine Assets and Projects Team, working closely with various other practice areas including corporate teams, marine litigation, and international offices.
Responsibilities
- Shipbuilding contracts
- Ship sale and purchase (ideally being able to manage the transaction with some supervision)
- Ship financing
- Bareboat charters
- Long term time charter parties
Requirements
- 3-4 years PQE in marine transactional work
- Comfortable working knowledge of BIMCO
- Excellent legal ability and initiative
- Strong technical skills
- Confidence in managing and prioritizing a full and varied caseload
- Strong communicator with good attention to detail
- Practising certificate (required for practising solicitors in England & Wales)
- Compliance with the Solicitors Regulation Authority's continuing professional development scheme (CPD Scheme)
