About the Role
Provide a professional account handling service and broker support for renewals and new business inquiries. This includes accurate and timely production of documentation, setting up accounts, and tasks associated with fund settlement. The role also involves work related to NOCs, outstanding premium issues, queries, and Space KPIs, assisting with broking tasks to support the business and ensure first-class client service. Demonstrate the ability to handle a complex, varied, and demanding workload effectively.
Responsibilities
- MRC Slip Production for New Business information/quotations
- Creation of UMRs for Account Managers
- Endorsement creation for Account Managers
- Issuance of regulatory documentation
- Adjustments and calculations
- Mid-term adjustments
- Premium queries
- Issuing certificates of Insurance and associated documentation
- Premium Excel Spreadsheets, Adjustments
- Manage Space Notices of Cancellation
- Account Opening, completion and collation of Terms of Business Agreements
- Appreciation of compliance and risk requirements to onboard Clients, Third Parties and Markets
- Liaison with Claims on behalf of Account Managers and Brokers
- Liaison with Account Managers & Brokers regarding premium issues
- Support Business Accounts Manager with delegated tasks
- Assistance with Bad Debt and Funding items
- Utilise in-house, Lloyd’s and Company market systems including GlobalXB, Edge, Whitespace, Harmon.ie, Placement Hub and Ardonagh group computer systems
- Manage and undertake assigned project work to time scales as directed
- Liaising with Clients
- Progressing Risks, file onwards to Processing Teams
- Liaising with underwriters via Telephone/Email, Face to face
- Supporting Brokers
- Back-up Broking activities including Canvassing Markets, Renewal & New business discussion with markets, Mid-term risks movements, Support to brokers
Requirements
- A Levels and / or 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths
- Previous experience in a Space capacity
- Ability to work with employees at all organisational levels
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
Skills
- Proficiency in MS Outlook (email)
- Intermediary level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Collaborative team working approach
- Good written language skills
