About the Role
Drive global film delivery and elevate the cinema experience by assisting the Electronic Delivery Lead and Distribution team in supporting all areas of electronic sends, providing 1st and 2nd line support to exhibitors and distributors.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the MPS distribution platform and provide 2nd line support for internal teams and exhibition customers regarding site issues like being offline or internal content transfer problems.
- Provide management and support for exhibition customers during live broadcasts.
- Collaborate with partners to support new AV equipment for joint customers.
- Support the Asset Management team with efficient management of electronic content deliveries to ensure a "no black screen" policy and timely film content delivery.
- Monitor Electronic Content Delivery hardware (Filmvault/LANsat), ensuring faults are addressed within the SLA and maintaining a minimum of 95% online hardware SLA.
Requirements
- An understanding of Digital Cinema Initiative (DCI) standards.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Good attention to detail and an eye for spotting potential issues.
- Experience working with ISPs.
- Experience working with IT systems such as Linux and Putty.
- Experience working within the film/digital cinema industry.
- Experience working within a technical, customer-facing team.
