About the Role
As an Accounts Payable Accountant / Subledger Accountant at ubitricity, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of supplier invoices and travel expenses, supporting the smooth operation of accounting processes during a parental leave cover period.
Responsibilities
- Review, code, and post supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Manage and process invoices through the digital workflow system
- Maintain and reconcile vendor accounts
- Review and process employee travel expense claims
- Support payment runs and monitor open items
- Clarify invoice discrepancies with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies and procedures
Requirements
- Completed commercial training, accounting qualification, or a comparable background
- Initial professional experience in Accounts Payable, bookkeeping, or general accounting
- Practical experience in processing and posting invoices
- Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Structured, accurate, and detail-oriented way of working
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Good communication skills in German and English
