About the Role

The Pricing Services team collaborates closely with various departments to maximize revenue and provide affordable ticket prices. This role involves continuously evolving pricing services for new market launches and complex features within the Demand Division.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain distributed, responsive, resilient, and message-driven systems using PHP, Golang, and AWS services.
• Navigate and contribute meaningfully to a large, complex codebase, applying clean code principles and thoughtful refactoring.
• Actively participate in Pair Programming, Mob Programming, and Code Reviews.
• Support, maintain, and improve existing services, proactively identifying bottlenecks.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Co-create high-value products and features in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Contribute to backlog refinement and prioritization.
• Balance engineering quality with delivery pace, making trade-offs transparently.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer with strong, production-grade PHP skills.
• Demonstrated experience working on Platform or API products in a distributed, microservices environment.
• Hands-on experience with message streaming (e.g., Kafka or similar), Kubernetes, RESTful/HTTP APIs, and AWS services.
• Comfortable working in and contributing to a large, established codebase.
• Product-minded engineer with an interest in user needs and business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, with experience or interest in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development practices.
• Willingness to participate in the on-call rotation.
