About the Role

Hitachi Solutions Europe is seeking a Senior QA Consultant to join their growing consulting team, contributing to end-to-end transformation projects using Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver automated and manual testing according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Manage test scope and adhere to published methodologies and project controls.
• Report on test progress.
• Provide support and guidance to Test Consultants and Test Analysts.
• Oversee the day-to-day testing delivery, ensuring adherence to time, quality, and budget.
• Plan, delegate, monitor, and control Test Team activities.
• Ensure the Test Plan is adequately resourced throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Verify that the testing process is followed and all deliverables, milestones, and test phases are accepted.
• Act as a point of contact for the Test Team and escalate issues to the Project Team/Steering Group.
• Serve as a point of contact for the junior test team regarding solution understanding.
• Assess products and requirements for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure high-quality script preparation and writing.
• Organize and manage Test Meetings.
• Perform a junior Test Lead role on smaller projects.

Requirements

• A good understanding of the software test and development process and business approach.
• Possess or be eligible for Security Clearance.
• Demonstrable experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Experience in performance testing and Azure load testing using tools like JMeter, BlazeMeter, and K6 is highly desirable.
• Accessibility testing experience is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium Grid & WebDriver C#, SQL, Ruby, Specflow, and Cucumber.
• Experience using AI technologies such as Co-Pilot.
• Javascript experience.
• Good exposure to SOAP and REST based APIs.
• Good exposure to DevOps / Test Plan APIs.
• Structured and disciplined with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality and professional written documentation.
• Good presentation skills.
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
