About the Role
Join Heidelberg Materials Australia as a Relief Heavy Rigid Truck Driver and help deliver the concrete that's shaping Melbourne's future. You'll be behind the wheel of our modern agitator trucks, delivering innovative mixes to some of the city's most iconic projects. These roles are Relief Drivers, meaning your base plant will be closest to your home, but you may be asked to travel to another plant for the day pending workload, with a travel allowance potentially provided.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality concrete mixes to major projects.
- Enjoy daily variety and meet new people.
- Complete a comprehensive 10-day training program.
Requirements
- Must hold a minimum of a Heavy Rigid licence.
- Holds a valid White Card or willing to get one if successful.
- Brings a strong work ethic and a customer-first attitude.
- Enjoys solving problems and working as part of a team.
- Safety-focused, with knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management.
- Familiar with the Chain of Responsibility (CoR).
Skills
- Previous Agitator Driving experience is highly advantageous, but not essential to the role.

- Generous overtime rates (Time-and-a-half after 8 hours, Double time after 10 hours)
