About the Role

This role ensures Cubic equipment is responded to, returned to full service, and maintained to the highest standard while meeting contractual SLAs. It offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge transportation technology, including automated fare collection and contactless payments, with continuous variety and guidance to foster subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities

• Carry out first and second line maintenance on contracted CTS equipment.
• Respond to and repair Cubic devices promptly, following maintenance procedures to maximize reliability and availability.
• Undertake provided training and development programs effectively.
• Continuously improve performance through training, experience, and KPI feedback.
• Minimize downtime during fault call-outs.
• Assist with equipment installation or commissioning as required by CTS management.
• Ensure working practices comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and customer requirements.
• Deliver and/or collect equipment modules from stores.
• Assist with stock control or fault control if deemed necessary by CTS management.
• Aim at maintaining quality principles compatible with current ISO standards.
• Comply with Cubic’s values and adherence to all company policy and procedures, including code of conduct, quality, security, and occupational health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Perform other duties assigned by their manager as reasonably required.

Requirements

• Proven 'hands on' experience in a high-tech Service/Maintenance environment.
• Experience working in a Service/Maintenance environment.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Good communication skills.

Education Level

• A recognised Engineering Qualification.
• HNC or equivalent in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering (Desirable).
