About the Role
The Tribe Workflow in Shared Application Services (SAS) develops and operates the central workflow platform of Deutsche Bank. As a Senior Business Functional Analyst (m/f/d), you will further develop our solution as part of an agile organization, creating user-friendly and efficient processes and features to drive digitalization and automation in a large bank.
Responsibilities
- Identify the full spectrum of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for solution development and implementation.
- Create BPMN models, diagrams, presentations, and other documentation to aid understanding of business requirements.
- Analyze and evaluate the effects of planned changes on existing processes, systems, and structures.
- Design target processes and support business units in shaping optimal business workflows.
- Provide guidance on methodological approaches of varying complexity and assist in selecting appropriate methods.
- Collaborate closely and continuously with key stakeholders such as Product Owners, Developers, and other involved parties to ensure seamless alignment between business requirements and technical solution providers across all project lifecycle phases.
Requirements
- Possess an open, empathic personality with strong communication skills, the ability to convince others, set priorities, and implement tasks independently and with high quality.
- Have multiple years of relevant job experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a bank, consulting company, or large enterprise.
- Experience in virtual collaboration with international teams.
- Hold an academic background in science, business, or a technical discipline with a focus on IT, or possess comparable qualifications.
- Be familiar with Business Analyst tools and methodologies such as creating diagrams (e.g., Data Flow, Use Case modelling) and Mock-ups, writing User Stories in Jira, and documenting in Confluence.
