About the Role

The employee in scientific field sales advises on Janssen products by being a competent and trustworthy contact person for customers, utilizing all analog and digital channels. The focus is on the product's benefit and patient benefit. The role is responsible for maintaining or expanding customer access and achieving sales and growth targets for assigned products in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Convince customers of the value and benefit of products through scientific and communication competence to achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Build sustainable business relationships by understanding customer needs.
  • Identify market opportunities and develop network structures in the region.
  • Develop ideas for access-securing and sales-promoting measures in a competitive environment, using resources efficiently.
  • Independently conduct market, account, and potential analyses to derive and implement regional sales strategies.
  • Organize information events, potentially with own presentations, and participate in relevant national and regional events like conferences and congresses.
  • Identify and prioritize needs and gaps in care from healthcare providers and patients along the therapy process, developing strategy and action plans within stakeholder management.
  • Intensively monitor the market and share market-relevant competitive and health policy information with the cross-functional team.
  • Collaborate closely across sales lines within a regional and cross-functional team, proactively contributing ideas and involving relevant functions to expand customer relationships and market access.

Requirements

  • Completed university degree or PhD, preferably in natural sciences, pharmacy, health economics, or medicine.
  • Alternatively, recognition as a pharmaceutical representative (m/w/d) according to § 75 Abs. 3.
  • Initial professional experience in sales is advantageous.
  • Precise communication skills for scientific arguments with opinion leaders.
  • Deep knowledge of health policy and the healthcare landscape in Oncology/Pneumology indications is desirable.
  • Pioneering spirit, willingness to learn, digital affinity, positive attitude, creativity, and proactivity.
  • High willingness to cooperate and excellent teamwork skills.
  • Very good communication and rhetorical skills.
  • Customer orientation and strong networking qualities.
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • High willingness to travel and stay overnight in the region; residing in the travel area is advantageous.
  • Driver's license class B.
  • Willingness to work weekends for events and congresses.
