About the Role
Manage and develop existing and new products/services, owning customer and colleague journeys. Develop product strategy, drive change, and make key decisions throughout the product lifecycle to achieve positive outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank, ensuring compliance with SLAs, regulations, and risk management controls. This role focuses on the product lifecycle of finance admin delivery through embedded services products, shaping the user experience for business clients using digital channels. Drive collaboration with internal teams and external partners to enable rapid scale and differentiated customer value, leveraging a commercial mindset to unlock digital engagement, product holdings, and customer primacy through regulatory-ready solutions powered by real-time transaction data.
Responsibilities
- Develop customer-level strategies and solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team, guiding stakeholders on product/proposition application and related journeys.
- Develop product propositions and/or service strategy, defining priorities for strategy execution.
- Develop commercial and business models by understanding financial drivers of the P&L.
- Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks of new product development and launch.
- Monitor market trends and analyze feedback from internal employees and target customers through prototypes, user testing, and beta programs.
- Manage comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments, establishing rollout timelines, marketing strategies, training, and communication channels.
- Monitor key metrics such as adoption rates, usage patterns, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation.
- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.
- Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches.
- If managing a team: define jobs and responsibilities, plan for future needs and operations, counsel employees on performance, and contribute to pay decisions.
- If leading specialists: influence department operations in alignment with strategic and tactical priorities, balancing short and long-term goals, and ensuring budget/schedule requirements are met.

Requirements
- Considerable traditional Product Management experience from Tech, SaaS or FinTech organizations.
- Disciplined product discovery.
- Roadmap ownership.
- Data-led prioritization.
- Proven experience scaling customer-facing digital propositions.
- Product ownership in Business Admin tools/journeys (Embedded Services) & API capabilities within the SME market.
- Managing relationships with external partners.
- Setting and executing roadmaps.
- Work with Design and Engineers in scaled agile framework.
- Product Management experience in accounts payable, supplier payments, procurement, workflow automation or B2B payments platforms.
- Considerable understanding of customer pain points across invoice capture, approvals, payment initiation, reconciliation and supplier management.
- Able to build customer-led & commercially-led propositions and roadmap prioritization.
- Considerable ability to work across partner integrations, UX, data, technology and operations to deliver scalable payables journeys from discovery to launch.
