About the Role
Indy is seeking a Product Designer to own the User Experience vision for their squad, aiming to maintain and improve high user satisfaction. The role involves contributing to the Design System, design critiques, and fostering the design culture at Indy, with opportunities for significant impact on both the culture and the product. The designer will participate in the entire design phase, from user research and mockups to prototyping, launch, and results measurement.
Responsibilities
- Identify user problems and opportunities with PMs.
- Design intuitive, innovative, and elegant solutions.
- Apply a rigorous design process from user research to high-fidelity prototyping.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.
- Contribute to the Design System with other designers.
- Organize user tests and interviews for continuous improvement.
- Participate in improving Product Design processes and methodologies.
- Promote Product Design culture within Indy.
- Maintain a transverse vision of the user journey across and within Tribes.
Requirements
- Reside in Lyon or within 3 hours by train to visit Lyon offices 2-3 consecutive days per month, OR reside in Paris.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a product design team.
- At least one experience in a product environment similar to Indy's.
- Excellent design and prototyping skills.
- Proficiency in UX methodologies.
- Strong written and methodological rigor.
- Ability to use qualitative and quantitative indicators for decision-making.
- Capacity to research and stay updated.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders, team members, and management.
- Capability to defend ideas at all company levels.
- Ability to translate complex problems into solutions.
- Good command of Figma and Notion.
