About the Role

The Quality Package Manager oversees and ensures adherence to quality standards and processes throughout the offshore wind farm project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan.
  • Establish and enforce quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to monitor compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and certifications.
  • Manage and track non-conformities and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide regular quality performance reports.
  • Develop and implement the Quality Management Plan, including quality objectives, processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections of work processes, materials, and deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Identify and address non-conformities and deviations, and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality standards are understood and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and track quality performance metrics, analyzing trends and recommending improvements.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between different stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Provide training and support to project team members on quality processes and requirements.
  • Liaise with certification bodies and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control measures during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality status and contribute to decision-making processes.
  • Manage vendor and factory inspections for major components (turbines, foundations, cables, substations) to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
  • Oversee quality surveillance during offshore installation activities in coordination with the Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS).
  • Ensure quality documentation and certification packages are completed for each installation milestone prior to handover.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15 years of experience in the offshore wind industry in similar roles
  • Significant experience in managing projects in the oil and gas sector or large and complex infrastructure projects, in similar scope assignments.
