About the Role
We are looking for an outstanding Software Product Assessor to develop a mechanism to ensure our software’s quality. Our activities include not only process audit but also product assessment, which reviews the product from safety, security, and AI perspectives. You will collaborate with diverse teams, including system design, architecture, development, testing, project management, and other support teams. We seek individuals who can adapt product assessment to a real project. Building relationships with team members and stakeholders is essential. You will report to the Team Lead of Global Audit & Assessment.
Responsibilities
- Design a robust, end-to-end product assessment framework that covers safety, security, and AI quality standards, optimized to accelerate speed and efficiency in mass production.
- Lead product assessment as a technical partner, using the process for deep technical dialogue to help teams identify design, architecture, and coding risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Prepare and present product assessment reports to management detailing assessment results, identified issues, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Continuously improve operational efficiency by integrating state-of-the-art automation tools, transforming the product assessment workflow into a scalable, data-driven engine.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and automotive industry best practices, like Automotive SPICE
- Experience applying quality standards like ISO 250xx
- Experience applying safety standards like ISO 26262/21448
- Experience applying security standards like ISO 21434
Skills
- Software quality metrics and analysis for quality data (e.g., Cyclomatic complexity)
- Agile/Scrum development using Jira/Confluence
- Requirement management tools like DOORS, Jama, Integrity, and Polarion
- Collaboration and alignment with cross-functional/department stakeholders
- Utilizing AI/ML-related technology for Quality Assurance Activity
- Leading a hybrid team of different domains’ external experts/consultants
- Advanced technologies and mass production practices in the automotive industry
