About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and passionate DevOps & Cloud Engineer to help our diverse clients bring their visions to life and advance digitalization in Germany. We leverage our enthusiasm for software engineering, open source, agile mindsets, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in developing and managing operational infrastructure (GitOps, Kubernetes, Linux, Apache, Java applications) and application operations on a cloud platform.
- As a generalist in a cross-functional team, develop features across all areas of infrastructure, application, and cloud environments.
- Actively participate in the entire development process and optimize the CI/CD pipeline using GitLab CI, Kubernetes, and cloud services.
- Conduct code reviews and pair programming to improve quality and distribute knowledge.
- Design and implement cloud strategies and architectures to ensure scalability and reliability of applications.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and security of client cloud environments.
Requirements
- Completed degree or comparable training in computer science.
- Experience in designing and implementing DevOps processes, ideally in agile software development projects.
- Practical experience with Linux, Container (OCI / Docker), CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins), Git, Ansible, and Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Ideally, knowledge in the administration of Java web applications and cloud services.
- Enthusiasm for agile working and motivation to continuously engage with new technologies and trends, especially in the cloud domain.
- Very good German language skills (min. C1).
