About the Role
This role is the dedicated global owner of Atlassian’s partnership with Accenture, a key global system integrator. You will lead through influence, managing Accenture as a global 360° relationship with the goal of building it into a dedicated Atlassian business unit to drive joint growth and customer value at scale. This is an individual-contributor role focused on driving enterprise sales through co-selling.
Responsibilities
- Be the global lead accountable for every aspect of the Accenture partnership — strategy, joint business plan, investment, governance, and results.
- Own the Accenture joint business plan and run the executive steering cadence and global business reviews with Accenture’s alliance office and Atlassian leadership.
- Manage Accenture as a 360° relationship — sell to, sell with, and sell through — and drive the strategy to become an embedded Atlassian business unit within Accenture.
- Align regional partner managers, partner marketing, partner solutions, and partner sales behind one global plan; resolve cross-region friction before it stalls pipeline.
- Serve as the single point of contact for Accenture’s global team, ensuring a unified partner experience across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
- Develop joint solutions and repeatable co-sell plays across cloud migration, hyperscaler-aligned motions, industry solutions, and Teamwork / AI attach.
- Build a global pipeline of joint opportunities with our largest enterprise customers; surface multi-region deals no single regional manager can orchestrate.
- Own the joint investment model with the partner: govern co-investment, marketing development funds, and other investments against a quarterly scorecard.
- Monitor and inspect how initiatives and investment deliver results; report partner health and sourced, teamed, migration, and attach outcomes.
- Be an advocate for Atlassian inside Accenture and a trusted advisor to the partner’s executives.
- Collaborate across Product, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Legal to remove friction and scale the partnership.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in global alliance or GSI partnership management within an enterprise software or services ecosystem.
- A proven record of meeting or exceeding both revenue / bookings and non-revenue strategic targets.
- Experience owning a single large, complex global partner end to end — joint business plan, executive relationships, and multi-year strategy.
- Demonstrated success building integrated sales plays across multiple partner types (e.g. SaaS provider, hyperscaler, ISV, GSI).
- A track record of leading cross-functional teams through influence rather than authority — aligning regional, marketing, solutions, and sales stakeholders behind one plan.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to build relationships with Accenture’s Managing Directors and Senior Managing Directors, up to C-suite.
- A data-driven approach to managing a partnership, and the communication skills to build a business case and win organizational buy-in.
- Strong cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to operate across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
- Direct experience with Accenture or another Tier-1 GSI, including their matrixed decision-making, practice structures, and alliance-office operating model, considered a strong plus.
- Experience negotiating and governing global partner investments, fixed-funding models, and co-investment frameworks, considered a plus.
- A background in strategy consulting, pre-sales, or enterprise transformation that bridges business and technical conversations, considered a plus.
