About the Role
Cleans and services all areas of the facility to maintain a safe, healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Dusts furniture, woodwork, and equipment.
- Mops floors, polishes, and cleans fixtures.
- Wet mops rooms, halls, stairways, and public areas.
- Operates housekeeping mechanical equipment.
- Moves furniture for cleaning.
- Buffs, strips, waxes, and polishes floors.
- Removes waste and soiled linens according to procedure.
- Performs cleaning of patient rooms and prepares them for the next occupant.
- Follows isolation procedures in isolation rooms.
- Participates in educational programs and in-service meetings.
