About the Role
This role is within the product development department, focusing on planning, designing, and developing creative insurance products to address societal issues like population and healthcare challenges. The position involves contributing to the resolution of societal issues through life insurance, aiming to alleviate anxieties and ensure secure living for people.
Responsibilities
- Planning, designing, and developing insurance products, including revisions of existing products, with support until launch (70%)
- Researching industry trends and competitor products (10%)
- Revising and abolishing product regulations (5%)
- Reporting to the group office (5%)
- Coordinating with relevant internal departments for the above tasks (10%)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in handling life insurance products (common for Manager, Assistant Manager, and Staff)
- 2+ years of experience in planning and developing life insurance products (for Assistant Manager and Manager levels)
- English proficiency (reading and writing)
- Experience in claims assessment for third sector insurance (preferred)
- Experience in researching, analyzing, and reporting on insurance market and competitor trends (preferred)
- Experience in planning insurance product sales strategies (preferred)
- Experience in product development planning (preferred)
- Experience participating in meetings in English (preferred)
- Logical thinking and persistence in problem-solving
- Detailed analytical skills, paying attention to small details in research results
- Ability to communicate smoothly with internal and external stakeholders

Salary/Compensations
- 5,200,000 JPY and above (plus variable compensation)
