About the Role

We are seeking a candidate to join our IT Service Delivery Department 3, which is responsible for system development and maintenance for insurance design and application services for agents and customers, call center systems, and new contract workflows. We are also promoting DX initiatives and microservice conversion using DevOps and container platforms. We are looking for someone interested in the system domains, agile development, container platforms, and new businesses utilizing digital technology, who can actively drive these areas as a future leader.

Responsibilities

Application development (coding, unit testing, integration testing)
BAU operations (requirements definition, design, acceptance, etc. for daily improvement development, incident/inquiry response, related partner company contracts, resource management, etc.)
Project lead operations (management of small-scale projects according to company portfolio)
Promotion of improvement measures (hearing issues and improvement points from business departments, planning improvement plans, etc.)

Requirements

5+ years of web application development experience using JAVA/JavaScript
5+ years of application development experience using Databases (regardless of type)
Insurance business knowledge (new contracts, contract maintenance, premium billing/collection, claims payment, accounting, actuarial science, etc.)
Application development experience and upstream process experience related to insurance business (new contracts, contract maintenance, premium billing/collection, claims payment, accounting, actuarial science, etc.)
Source code management experience
Basic knowledge of Agile development
Infrastructure related knowledge (OS, network, job operation management, inter-system data linkage/web application related middleware)
