Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage a cross-functional planning process incorporating materials management, inventory, and associated costs.
• Analyze customer demand and historical material usage to develop build-to-order and build-to-forecast plans.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for production planning and materials procurement.
• Establish and implement best practices for inventory purchasing and material control systems and processes.
• Manage procurement activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking production progress, and identifying factors affecting material delivery.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet business growth and sourcing requirements.
• Identify, develop, and manage supplier relationships to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Establish and manage a system to evaluate, monitor, and report supplier performance.
• Coordinate with quality, engineering, machining, and assembly operations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Represent the materials organization on corporate materials task force teams.
• Manage departmental budgets, associated costs, and resources.
• Manage OTD/MRP Avail% for up to 10 suppliers/commodities (Box Builds, OEMs, Weldments, Sheetmetal/Frames, Cable commodities, BTP machined parts).
• Represent the factory in production meetings and war rooms for shortage management, directing actions to resolve priority shortages.
• Oversee and collaborate on shortages for Austin and Singapore builds, aligning decisions and priorities for shipments.
• Review shortage metrics and prepare for the Revenue Demand Leadership Taskforce (RDLT), articulating issues and recovery plans.
• Prepare Quarter End Short-term Supply Chain Risk Assessment summaries and mitigation plans.
• Manage a direct report team of approximately 5-6 individuals.
• Lead strategic and supply continuity initiatives, including resiliency, regional dependency, and SPOF risk mitigation.
• Develop product familiarity within Etch/SRP from a supply chain perspective.
• Manage obsolescence risk and supply continuity planning, including S&OP related scaling initiatives.
• Lead leadtime mitigation initiatives, including safety stock, advanced purchasing programs, and inventory management.
• Drive MCOS savings initiatives to achieve annual operating plan targets on an annual spend of $2B.
