About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Transformation Manager to oversee the entire process of service transformation within healthcare providers, from initial scoping to achieving improved outcomes. This role is crucial for making proactive care a reality within NHS services by redesigning clinical and administrative workflows. You will collaborate closely with the CEO and CCO to understand our product and customers, with the goal of establishing transformation as a repeatable process. Key focuses include successful delivery, strong relationship management, and continuous process improvement. There is a clear path to build and lead the transformation function, including hiring and managing a team, reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities

- Understand the real barriers to change and translate learnings into a transformation plan.
- Map current pathways and design future ones with clinical and operational leads.
- Run every transformation against a clear plan with milestones, owners, and dates.
- Train the trainers and build internal champions who carry the change.
- Lead the customer relationship and be the expert in the room.
- Coach the teams doing the work to make them capable.
- Challenge existing processes and bring better options.
- Be the expert in our product and its fit within customer workflows.
- Take customer feedback back to product and engineering teams.
- Build relationships with practice managers, GP partners, and other leads.
- Build the playbook for transforming services, including templates and checklists.
- Treat every program as an experiment to identify improvements.
- Measure key metrics such as time to go-live, value, adoption, and outcomes.
- Set the foundation for future transformation managers.
- Hire and lead future transformation managers.
Requirements
- 5+ years in consultancy, transformation, programme management, customer success, or implementation, ideally in healthcare, healthtech, or another regulated industry.
- Track record of leading large-scale technology or operational change through to adoption, on time and in scope, with non-technical customers.
- Strong customer service instinct.
- Real project and implementation capability.
- Ability to hold discussions with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to influence without authority.
- Comfort with data analysis and presentation.
- Willingness to have difficult conversations constructively.
- Bias toward documenting processes and learnings.
- Judgement to know when to follow process and when to break it.
- Real enthusiasm for changing NHS services and shifting care from reactive to proactive.
- Willingness to spend significant time on-site with customers.
- Treats the role as personal, understanding the real impact and responsibility.
- Direct experience transforming services or implementing SaaS in UK primary care, NHS trusts, ICBs, PCNs, or community pharmacy.
- Startup exposure.
- Consultancy background with client relationship ownership.
- Exposure to clinical practice, especially through nursing experience.
- History of being a first or early transformation, CS, or implementation hire.
