About the Role

Energy One is seeking a detail-oriented individual to manage supplier invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, reconcile accounts, and assist with month-end closing activities. This role involves processing daily cash transactions, performing bank and credit card reconciliations, and preparing EOM journal entries, while collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage supplier invoices, purchase orders and expenses
• Maintain and reconcile creditor accounts accurately
• Manage expense and corporate credit card transactions
• Ensure precise GL coding and journal entries
• Assist with month-end closing activities, reporting, and accruals
• Coordinate international and manual payments twice a month
• Provide backup support for Accounts Receivable and other finance tasks
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
• Process daily cash transactions (AP and AR functions)
• Bank reconciliation
• Credit card reconciliation
• EOM journal preparation

Requirements

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet key deadlines
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be a team-player and collaborate with all levels within an organisation
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Strong computer literacy
• Willingness to keep learning

Skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel (index match, vlookup, sumifs, pivot tables)
• Experience working with accounting systems (Sage Intacct, SAP Concur, Insight Software, XERO)
