About the Role
Morgan Stanley Tokyo Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is seeking an Analyst Assistant to support key tasks and operations within the team, working closely with bankers. This is a fixed-term contract position with potential for extension and future permanent employment consideration.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with investment bankers in the FIG team covering Insurance, Bank, Non-bank, and FinTech companies.
- Assist in arranging logistics for IR Road Shows and Business Trips.
- Assist in creating or updating pitch books based on industry/company research in the FIG space, including financial summaries, business overviews, investment portfolios, deep-dive research on market share and positioning, and share price analysis.
Requirements
- Native level in Japanese and business level English.
- Basic PC skillset including Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Basic numerical and analytical skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting and finance preferred.
- Basic understanding and/or experience at financial institutions (e.g., Insurance, Bank, Leasing, Consumer Finance, FinTech, etc.) is a plus.
