About the Role
Strengthen risk and quality practices across IAG's Intermediated Insurance business, supporting trusted brands. Partner with leaders to manage risk, improve controls, and drive better outcomes for customers, partners, and employees. This role combines risk, quality, assurance, and continuous improvement to shape future business operations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders and teams to identify, assess, and manage operational risks in a complex business environment.
- Review business processes and controls to ensure effective risk management and identify improvement opportunities.
- Develop practical risk mitigation plans through coaching, collaboration, workshops, and stakeholder engagement.
- Conduct risk and quality reviews supporting compliance, operational effectiveness, and customer outcomes.
- Implement and enhance automated testing and monitoring activities using technology.
- Support governance activities including business continuity, compliance, assurance, and fraud control planning.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, strengthen controls, and improve team workflows.
Requirements
- Experience in operational risk, quality, controls, or governance within an intermediated insurance or financial services environment.
- Strong understanding of broker, intermediary, or commercial insurance business operations.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to navigate complex business challenges.
- Experience managing risk profiles, incidents, controls, or assurance activities in a regulated environment.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and partner effectively with leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience driving continuous improvement, change initiatives, or operational uplift programs.
- Curiosity about emerging technology, automation, and AI for risk and quality improvement.
