About the Role
Join ASX, a leading global securities exchange and trusted market operator, as an Internal Audit Team Lead (Manager/Senior Analyst). You will lead and conduct audits across various ASX businesses and functions, contributing to the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and internal control processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed understanding of key business divisions and support functions.
- Engage with key stakeholders at all levels, taking ownership of key relationships.
- Manage audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Deliver value-added findings and drive positive change.
- Contribute to continuous monitoring and stakeholder engagement.
- Feed into ongoing risk assessment of the audit universe.
- Drive changes to the audit plan.
- Play an integral role in the development and implementation of the broader Internal Audit strategy.
- Contribute to key initiatives to expand on Internal Audit’s purpose and vision.
- Lead and assist with assessments on the quality and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of the Group’s risk management framework.
Requirements
- Experience in leading or significantly contributing on audits relating to financial services.
- Good knowledge of capital markets and financial products.
- Diligence and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Ability to effectively meet defined timelines and budgets.
- Passion for relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proven track record of reporting and clearing audit issues with senior management.
- Experience in managing audit teams.
- Experience in auditing financial services or capital markets areas.
- Data analytics experience and capabilities.
- Experience in leading audits over enterprise risk areas such as third party risk, operational resilience, data governance.
- Program/project delivery, assurance or risk leadership, experience or qualifications.
- Candidates must be legally authorised to work in Australia on a permanent basis without any restrictions.
