About the Role
Endeavour College of Natural Health engages Independent Contractors to deliver Intensive instructional sessions for allocated subjects during Intensive events, adhering to approved lesson plans and content.
Responsibilities
- Deliver sessions in an engaging and professional manner.
- Conduct assessments during and following Intensive session attendance using prescribed tools and marking rubrics.
- Provide constructive feedback to students during live activities and as part of the formal assessment process.
- Mark student assessments, return results within agreed timeframes (typically two weeks), and complete all required documentation.
- Collaborate with academic staff as needed and provide feedback on course content or assessments when requested.
Requirements
- Possess relevant qualifications and professional experience in a health-related discipline.
- Knowledge and practical skills in clinical examination and/or patient assessment.
- A Bachelor minimum qualification in a health-related field (e.g., Nursing, Paramedicine, Medicine, Allied Health, or a related clinical discipline).
- Clinical experience involving patient assessment and physical examination.
- Demonstrated clinical skills: General vital signs assessment (temperature, radial pulse, respiratory rate, blood pressure), clinical examination techniques for systems assessment, musculoskeletal examination, gastrointestinal examination (inspection, palpation, auscultation, percussion of the abdomen).
- Ability to provide practical instruction, supervision, and assessment of students undertaking clinical examination skills.
- Hold a valid ABN.
