About the Role
The Lead - Marketing Platforms & Personalization Strategist is responsible for delivering best-in-class channel strategies and new marketing personalization capabilities, unlocking value for customers, clients, and the organization. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to support the tactical business enablement of a transformative roadmap, ensuring executional delivery of Martec and other value stream initiatives tied to omni-channel marketing, with a focus on evolving marketing capabilities, channels, media, and platforms that enable personalized customer experiences. The role drives business growth through acquisition, customer engagement, and retention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develops marketing channel capabilities as part of our Operating Product Model and/or with external vendors to advance personalization of cross-channel marketing tactics.
- Manages vendor relationships associated with channel platforms or Martec capabilities, oversees invoice and expense reconciliation, and implements process optimizations.
- Collaborates with Acquisition and ECM marketing teams to bring marketing platform, process, or new capability opportunities into the marketing planning cycle, serving as the SME for channel marketing standards, capabilities, and establishing best practices.
- Proactively monitors acquisition performance trends across partners, products, and channels.
- Collaborates with Analytics and CDAO to develop or build channel-level performance trends, insights, and learning agendas for new capabilities.
- Accountable for sharing performance insights with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Collaborates with MCOE, Digital, Risk, Fraud, Client Partnerships, and other cross-functional team leads to define tactical business requirements in support of the Marketing Value stream operating model business case development, process enhancements related to new platforms, capabilities, or to drive campaign efficiencies.
- Supports, and leads as appropriate, the coordination of leadership materials to ensure organization has visibility on acquisition trends, opportunities, and progress to goals.
- Implements necessary legal, compliance, and ERM practices and/or documentation to remove barriers to execution and mitigate regulatory concerns.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 8-10 years experience in credit, loyalty, or marketing roles
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field of study
- 5+ years experience in omnichannel marketing
- 3+ years leading project(s) with cross-functional coordination and delegation responsibilities
- Experience driving a strategy roadmap for marketing technology and capability enablement, especially Adobe-centric solutions.
- Experience with Adobe marketing platforms and content workflow tools such as Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Journey Optimizer.
- Experience with AI-enabled tools and emerging automation capabilities.
- Must be work authorized in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for any sponsorship now or in the future.
