About the Role
TRG Management is seeking a Leasing Consultant for a new lease-up in West Palm Beach, FL. This role will collaborate with the property management team to provide excellent resident service.
Responsibilities
- Interview prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing Standards.
- Accompany potential tenants to model apartments to explain size, layout, amenities, services, and lease terms.
- Complete lease forms and collect security deposits.
- Inspect property conditions and arrange for necessary maintenance.
- Compile a list of available rental units.
- Identify potential prospects.
- Manage the leasing and renewal process from start to finish.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with residents.
- Answer incoming calls and voicemails professionally and promptly.
- Request prospects to complete applications and make deposits according to company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
- Process applications for approval and update the availability report, including credit checks and rental history.
- Submit completed applications for approval to the Property Manager and follow up with candidates on status.
- Ensure apartments are ready for resident move-in on the scheduled date.
- Follow up with prospects who did not close and attempt to secure the business.
- Refer prospects to sister communities if their needs cannot be met.
- Monitor local market trends and update property comparables to track competitor activities.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, Conventional or multifamily real estate.
- Strong customer service orientation and presentation abilities.
- Working experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Skills
- Previous leasing experience is a plus.
- Hotel or hospitality industry experience (concierge, guest services, front desk, reservations) is a bonus.
- Onesite experience is a plus.
