About the Role
Build and lead DoorDash's global ESG reporting function from the ground up. This role is responsible for ESG disclosures across global brands, managing regulatory proliferation, owning the GHG measurement program, and handling enterprise partner data requests.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategy, build the infrastructure, and become the internal expert on ESG reporting and disclosure.
- Own global strategy for ESG-related disclosures, responding to mandatory regulations, voluntary frameworks, and reputational expectations.
- Act as the internal expert and cross-functional DRI on ESG reporting, aligning Legal, Finance, IR, Communications, Policy, HR, and Operations.
- Build reporting infrastructure, processes, and governance for efficient and consistent disclosure obligations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for enterprise partner ESG data requests, building scalable processes.
- Oversee GHG measurement, coordinating data collection and ensuring audit-readiness.
- Own Scopes 1 & 2 emissions strategy, building a plan to drive operational efficiency across facilities.
Requirements
- Meaningful experience in ESG, sustainability reporting, compliance, or a related field.
- Hands-on ownership of major reporting frameworks such as CSRD/ESRS, TCFD, GRI, SASB, Modern Slavery, and/or CDP.
- Proven experience building reporting infrastructure or processes from scratch.
- Strong cross-functional influencer capable of aligning stakeholders across Legal, Finance, IR, and Operations without direct authority.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft regulatory disclosures, strategy memos, and stakeholder briefings.
- A principled, business-grounded view of ESG, with expertise to advise leadership on investment and leadership opportunities.
