About the Role
We’re looking for an energetic, detail-loving Senior Associate to lead key strategic initiatives and own 1–2 capital OKRs for the ANZ restaurant business, focused on platform reliability and POS penetration. You will be directly responsible for ensuring restaurants are online when they should be, have accurate and compelling photos and menus, and are increasingly integrated into reliable POS flows that unlock scalable growth and operational quality. You will also support the program management and leadership of our POS penetration program, driving adoption and impact across priority restaurant cohorts.
Responsibilities
- Own strategic Restaurant OKRs: Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for 1–2 capital OKRs tied to ANZ restaurant platform reliability (e.g., uptime, menu accuracy, photo coverage), and be accountable for moving these metrics in a material way.
- Be the DRI for platform reliability: Act as the single-threaded owner for restaurant reliability across ANZ, ensuring stores are online when they should be, menus are accurate and reliable, and photo coverage meets a best-in-class bar for our customers and merchants.
- Drive our POS penetration program: Support the program management and leadership of our POS penetration program, including defining target cohorts, building the rollout plan, tracking adoption and impact, and coordinating cross-functional execution with Sales, Integrations, and Operations.
- Drive complex, data-backed decision-making: Use SQL and internal data tools to run complex analyses, build decision frameworks, and separate signal from noise. You’ll quantify trade-offs, pressure-test ideas, and turn insights into clear recommendations and action plans.
- Leverage AI and automation to scale impact: Use AI tools to streamline repetitive analysis, monitoring, and documentation so you can spend more time on second- and third-order thinking, stakeholder engagement, and strategic ideation.
- Shape and operationalise new operating models: Design and implement scalable playbooks, processes, and monitoring for key operational priorities, ensuring that improvements become durable ways of working, not one-off fixes.
- Influence cross-functional partners without authority: Work closely with Sales & Partnerships, Consumer, Product & Engineering, Finance, Integrations and International counterparts align on priorities, secure buy-in, and drive coordinated execution across teams and markets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, or operations.
- Comfortable operating in dynamic environments.
- Proactively identify problems, operate independently and effectively in ambiguity with minimal guidance, and drive initiatives end-to-end without waiting for direction.
- Comfortable pulling your own data in SQL, building robust analyses, and stress-testing your own work.
- Use data to identify root causes, evaluate trade-offs, and deliver clear, well-supported recommendations.
- Use AI tools to automate and streamline repeatable work (e.g., documentation, QA, monitoring) so you can dedicate more time to higher-order thinking, stakeholder engagement, and strategic ideation.
- Understand how different parts of a marketplace or operation fit together, and use that systems thinking alongside strong attention to detail on data, operations, and process.
- Manage multiple competing priorities and concurrent workstreams, staying focused on what matters most.
- Know when to apply an 80/20 lens versus when to go deep.
- Influence without authority, communicate effectively (especially in writing), and align stakeholders across teams.
- Enjoy collaborating with others to solve business problems, whiteboard solutions, and deliver against ambitious goals.
- Not satisfied owning your segment in isolation, naturally curious about how levers you pull in one place create ripple effects across the broader business, and proactively identify the highest-leverage opportunities at the platform level.
