About the Role

This role is critical to strengthening the ANZ merchant organisation and involves cross-functional collaboration with product, sales, finance, and operations teams to execute strategies. Restaurants are at the heart of our marketplace, and we aim to provide them with best in class experience from onboarding to growth. As Doordash continues to scale and expand its offerings, the merchant operations engine must grow in precision, efficiency and adaptability.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design and evaluation of pricing and promotional initiatives that drive our restaurant marketplace business.
  • Act as the quality bar for analytical work, building unit economic models and designing experiments to ensure commercial offers are viable and high-impact.
  • Own the actual commercial design of bundles, discounts, and pricing mechanics that impact millions of users.
  • Build and run sensitivity models from first principles, ensuring every recommendation is backed by a deep understanding of P&L logic and margin impact.
  • Produce decision-grade outputs and trade-off frameworks for senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on market-moving decisions.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure promotions are operationally feasible and strategically aligned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting or high-growth commercial roles, with a proven track record of "doing the loop" and driving execution.
  • Excel at breaking down complex problems, identifying gaps in logic, and turning data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable working with data.
  • Experience in building volume forecasts for promotions and discounts.
  • Default to written artifacts, lead with evidence-based arguments, and can simplify complex trade-offs for executive audiences.
  • Manage own time effectively, meet deadlines with clean handoffs, and do not require hierarchy to influence stakeholders.
