About the Role
Partner closely with the Commercial business unit, providing financial forecasts, insights, analysis, and decision support across Property, Retail, Hotels, and Car Parks. Lead a team of five Senior Financial Analysts and Financial Analysts, responsible for developing the team, lifting capability, improving processes, and ensuring high-quality reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for the Commercial business unit.
- Deliver high-quality reporting, variance analysis, and actionable insights.
- Build and enhance complex financial models, including EBITDA driver-based models, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Lead business casing and financial analysis for major commercial initiatives.
- Drive process improvement, automation, and the use of tools such as Power BI.
- Coach, develop, and lead a team of five analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, continuous improvement, and strong stakeholder service.
Requirements
- Experienced finance leader with strong FP&A experience across reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and business performance.
- Proven people leadership experience and confidence managing, coaching, and developing a team in a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.
- Strong business casing experience and ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear commercial recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Capable in complex financial modelling, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and working with large or varied data sources.
- Proactive self-starter comfortable working with ambiguity, moving at pace, and partnering with stakeholders across a complex business.
- Confident using financial systems and tools, with experience in Excel, ERP systems, reporting tools, and ideally Power BI or similar automation capability.
