About the Role

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will identify and address physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organizational risk factors impacting a worker's return to work. You will provide strategies to manage these factors and complete return-to-work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.

Responsibilities

• Identify and address critical physical, psychological, social, environmental and organisational risk factors which may have an impact on a worker's ability to successfully return to work.
• Provide strategies to address these factors in practise.
• Complete return to work case management for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
• Provide holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Workplace Assessments and Vocational Assessments.
• Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling.
• Collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals.

Requirements

• ASORC membership as a Rehabilitation Counsellor supported by a relevant qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Education Level

• Relevant qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
