About the Role

In our scale-up, you will ensure that numbers, payment flows, and deadlines align seamlessly, allowing all teams to rely on them. If you love operational accounting and value collaboration and clear processes, we should connect!

Responsibilities

• Operational accounts payable including checking, coding, and booking incoming invoices
• Ensuring stable, timely payment transactions in the e-commerce environment
• Assisting with period-specific accruals and structured support for monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparing complete documentation for the tax office and independently clarifying queries
• Serving as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders from Finance, HR, and Management on accounting matters

Requirements

• 2-4 years of operational professional experience in accounting, ideally in the e-commerce sector
• Confident handling of typical financial topics such as payment flows, transactions, and accruals
• Proficiency in working with various accounting systems (e.g., DATEV, Candis as a plus) and Excel
• Structured, meticulous work approach and a high sense of responsibility in daily operations
• Very good German language skills (min. C1) for internal and external coordination
• Must be living in Berlin or currently in the process of relocating to Berlin
