About the Role
Join our Audit & Assurance Data & Digital team as a Software and Cloud Engineer. Work on large-scale cloud-native analytics platforms supporting thousands of users across Australia and Asia Pacific. Grow your technical capabilities in a collaborative and innovative engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Building and supporting cloud-native data and analytics platform components
- Supporting CI/CD deployment activities and release management processes
- Developing and maintaining Python and .NET applications, APIs and automation tooling
- Troubleshooting application, deployment and infrastructure issues
- Supporting analytics and data-driven solutions across cloud platforms
- Contributing to platform monitoring, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering and analytics
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, Application Support Engineer or similar role
- Experience developing or supporting applications in .NET and/or Python
- Exposure to APIs, automation tooling, backend services or analytics applications
- Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts including compute, storage and environment management
- Exposure to SQL and modern data platform concepts such as cloud storage, data pipelines or Databricks
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging capability across applications, infrastructure and deployment issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and evolving environment
