About the Role

Own the security architecture, threat model, and evidence base for coera's platform to ensure compliance with regulations like the EU Cyber Resilience Act and pass customer security reviews.

Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end security architecture of coera's platform, covering supply chain, build pipeline, deployed runtime, and update channel.
• Deliver Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) Annex I conformance and the IEC 62443-4-1 and -4-2 evidence base for the first customer deployment.
• Run threat modeling (TARA) on every integration and implement mitigations.
• Own incident-response readiness, penetration-testing relationships, and security artifacts for customer review.
• Collaborate with the safety engineer to integrate safety and security.
• Establish secure engineering practices across the team.

Requirements

• Minimum five years in product or platform security with hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C and C++ for production code.
• Experience hardening embedded Linux and firmware, including secure boot chains.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443-4-1 and -4-2, ISO/IEC 27001, and working literacy in CRA Annex I and TARA methodology.
• Fluency in cloud security.
• Experience with cryptographic primitives and PKI in production environments.
