About the Role
A Clinical Teaching Support Officer plays a key role in coordinating clinical teaching within UNSW Medicine & Health and relevant Clinical Campus / Clinical Discipline(s). This role supports the delivery of high-quality clinical education, coordinates teaching activities, assessments, and learning resources, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and innovative teaching approaches.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistical aspects of clinical teaching, including scheduling teachers, room resources, timetables, and results for clinical campus or discipline.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Teaching Unit Directors, Discipline Education Directors, Clinical Campus Manager, teaching academics, and key hospital staff to organise and coordinate clinical teaching.
- Support the delivery of high-quality clinical education across General Practice and the broader School of Clinical Medicine.
- Coordinate teaching activities, assessments, and learning resources.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support innovative teaching approaches including online learning.
- Help ensure the smooth delivery of clinical education programs.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively within a team, but also to take initiative and work independently while managing competing demands.
- Demonstrated experience providing effective customer service and support to clients at all levels.
- Candidates must hold full rights to work in Australia to be considered for this position.

Skills
- Highly advanced interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to respond to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines by using judgement and initiative.
- High proficiency of computer literacy, working with a range of computer systems and applications, including Microsoft Office 365 suite including Teams, One Drive and Outlook and with eMed and using UNSW’s enterprise systems and Learning Management Systems.

- $108,021 base, plus 17% superannuation and leave loading
