About the Role
Pacific Partnerships seeks a Senior Project Finance Analyst for its Structured Finance & Strategic Projects team in North Sydney. This role supports the delivery of complex infrastructure, energy, and digital infrastructure transactions.
Responsibilities
- Lead financial modelling and analysis, including developing, reviewing, and maintaining complex project finance models.
- Support the Project Finance Director across transactions and take ownership of financial and commercial workstreams.
- Undertake counterparty creditworthiness assessments and detailed risk analysis.
- Lead investment screening, business case development, and internal approvals processes.
- Manage and coordinate due diligence processes across technical, legal, tax, and commercial disciplines.
- Prepare and contribute to high-quality bid submissions and investment papers.
- Provide project management support across the transaction lifecycle to ensure delivery against timelines and milestones.
- Support and progressively lead debt arranging, equity structuring, and transaction origination activities.
- Assist with securing competitive financing and optimising capital structures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with financiers, advisors, investors, and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in project finance, infrastructure, renewables, utilities, or related sectors.
- Strong financial modelling capability, including building and auditing complex models.
- Exposure to debt and/or equity financing processes.
- Experience in infrastructure sponsor/equity, project finance banking, financial advisory, or funds management environments is highly regarded.
- Sound commercial acumen and understanding of project finance structures and transactions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to contribute to transaction execution and delivery.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong attention to detail.
