About the Role
The Data Research Analyst contributes to the emerging issues analysis process through systematic scanning and research to support the identification of emerging issues. The role will also be responsible for monitoring established issues that dominate organisational response. This position is fully office-based to maximise collaboration, maintain data integrity and facilitate access to specialised resources that support the delivery of high-quality operation and research outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to research that informs road safety initiatives and enhances understanding of drug-impaired driving trends. You will work alongside experienced pharmacologists in a collaborative and supportive environment while developing valuable research and analytical expertise.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to the emerging issues analysis process through systematic scanning and research.
- Monitors established issues that dominate organisational response.
- Supports the Unit's research projects and administrative functions.
- Collection, management and analysis of data relating to Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (DUID) and Roadside Drug Testing (RDT) matters.
- Undertakes research activities and reviews to enhance understanding of emerging and evolving drug trends.
- Contributes to evidence-based decision making and strategic outcomes.
Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
- Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
- Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
