Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and virtual consultation and support to managers, People teams, and members to enhance employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness.
  • Offer strategic consultation to C-suite leaders, executives, managers, and Human Resources partners.
  • Deliver critical incident response support, small-group leadership discussions, and tailored mental health trainings or presentations for executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with a clinical team of onsite providers through regular touchpoints focused on best practices, complex organizational cases, and shared expertise.
  • Provide counseling and support to employees.
  • Assess risk and respond to organizational crises through in-the-moment support, triage, and safety planning.
  • Develop an expert-level understanding of the internal benefits ecosystem to provide seamless resource navigation and referrals.
  • Proactively build trusted relationships with local stakeholders.
  • Monitor workplace data and trends to identify strategic insights and recommend targeted mental health interventions.
  • Represent the program at benefits and promotional events to increase awareness and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation while following confidentiality, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Identify and resolve barriers to care to create a frictionless member experience.
  • Communicate regularly with local points of contact and escalate site needs to the broader clinical leadership team.
  • Maintain a strong and accessible onsite presence to reduce stigma and encourage early help-seeking.
  • Recognize and address compassion fatigue, secondary trauma, and emotional exhaustion common in high-demand, customer-facing environments.
  • Provide de-escalation support during high-stress incidents and stabilization guidance during periods of peak demand.
  • Identify and elevate cross-functional themes that may affect culture, morale, or productivity, and proactively recommend appropriate interventions.

Requirements

  • Hold an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in both New York and New Jersey; Connecticut licensure is a plus. Eligible licenses may include Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, or a comparable credential.
  • Be able to practice independently without licensed supervision.
  • Have at least five years of post-graduate experience as an independently licensed clinician; eight or more years is preferred.
  • Have experience providing management consultation, critical incident response, and executive-level presentations to C-suite and senior leaders.
  • Be comfortable facilitating groups ranging from 5 to 500 participants, both virtually and in person.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of supporting executives and high-performing professionals navigating organizational change, strategic pressure, and complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • Bring executive coaching capabilities while maintaining a strong clinical lens, trusted-advisor presence, and effective one-on-one counseling skills.
  • Facilitate creative, agile, and relatable trainings and leadership discussions on topics such as psychological safety, resilience, leadership effectiveness, and sustainable performance.
  • Be available for occasional local travel to a Westchester, New York campus to deliver onsite executive presentations.
  • Demonstrate strong technology proficiency and telehealth competency, including experience with Zendesk, Slack, Google Workspace, and related platforms.
  • Have training and experience in evidence-based care modalities, including short-term and solution-focused therapy.
  • Be comfortable assessing elevated risk and providing safety planning and intervention when needed.
  • Complete accurate, high-quality documentation in a timely manner.
  • Be comfortable working independently while also valuing team support, connection, and collaboration with other providers and master’s-level clinical care navigators.
  • Demonstrate a clear commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across teams and client populations.
  • Have reliable at-home Wi-Fi and a personal Wi-Fi-enabled device to support two-factor authentication setup.
