Responsibilities

  • Provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs.
  • Provides guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology.
  • Assists members with purchasing decisions and locating merchandise.
  • Resolves member issues and concerns, and promotes the company’s products and services.
  • Assists management with the supervision of associates by assigning duties, communicating goals, and providing feedback.
  • Trains associates on processes and procedures, and guides them on member service approaches.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supports the Open Door Policy and participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
  • Receives and stocks supplies and merchandise, and organizes and maintains the sales floor.
  • Completes paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.
  • Maintains safety of facility by conducting safety sweeps and following procedures for hazardous materials and equipment.
  • Ensures maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation.
  • Handles claims and returns, zones the area, stocks and arranges merchandise, and sets up product displays.
  • Removes damaged goods, signs and prices merchandise, identifies shrink and damages, and secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Monitors food and merchandise quality by ensuring product rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards are followed.
  • Merchandises area categories, and stocks, zones, and cleans all departments.
  • Leads and participates in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools.
  • Determines customer needs and business priorities, and coordinates and executes work assignments.
  • Provides advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved.
  • Models and helps others adapt to change or new challenges.
  • Oversees the picking and staging of club pickup orders throughout the day.
  • Ensures products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures.
  • Develops, communicates, and implements processes and practices to meet business needs.
  • Collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Analyzes and applies information from multiple sources, and monitors progress and results.
  • Identifies and addresses improvement opportunities.
  • Demonstrates, promotes, and supports compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Explains, guides, and demonstrates how to apply policies in executing business processes and practices.
  • Implements related action plans and uses the Open Door Policy.
  • Assists management with correcting ethical and compliance issues and problems.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • 6 months retail experience.
  • 6 months customer service experience.
